Thanks for the suggestions. I am glad nobody took offense at the wording of my first post. I re-read it and it almost comes off as being rude.

I have been talking with the wife (her car) and she is up for trying something out. We have a friend who owns a muffler shop and he would be willing to work with us. He also has a couple of those HushPower mufflers and wants to use my Maverick to test them out, I might offer up the Mustang instead....

Finally got a clip of my GT take-offs. Did this with a Kodak easy share 7.1 mp digital cam.

If you stay single I would go with the MRT single axleback. Duals will give you a little more choice. I used to have the GT takeoffs, and I think they sound great. I have the Ford Racing GTA's now and think they sound good too, but the GT takeoffs are an affordable way to upgrade both performance and visual.

Most axlebacks are straight bolt ons. Ihave beenrunning the Magnaflow axleback for the past 2 years on my 05 and it sounds great. Have just ordered the FRPP dual exhaust kit and am looking forward to installing it.
