Default cold air intakes V6

I am looking to put on a cold air intake on my sons V6. Ihave herd about one that when you clean the filter you do not oil it. Has anyone heard about this or know anything about it. I understand that the oil on the filter can cause a check engine light due to the MAF sensor getting oip on it.

If you follow the instructions properly, the MAF won't get oiled up. If you're MAF is getting oiled up you're either 1) over oiling 2) not waiting the appropriate time for the oil to settle.

I personally wouldn't worry about finding an "oil-less" filter. Just follow the instructions properly and you should be good to go.
