Is the t-5 automatic? Im looking for a beef up auto tranny, that works with the v6 4.0L can you help?

no the t5 is the manual

level 10 makes a beefed up 5r55 trans. just be prepared to take out a loan.

There is a water injection system for the XCharger. B a m a c h i p s makes it... I think it adds like 30 HP.

why not just opt for a rebuilt t-5??? you can pick up a 5-600hp capable rebuild for about 12-1500$... you can also have them change the gear ratios, whatever you want (i.e. change the first gear for 3.73+ rears).
i already have a rebuilt custom t5 built for 600-700hp, and cost me less than that

Anyway, I was trying to ask, what would it cost those of us without connections or ace certifications to upgrade our manual trannys? Hah thanks

if you had to pay markup and labor, expect at least 2 grand for a nicely built t5. mine has hardened internals, stronger sliders, stronger synchros, and stock input shaft.
