ON MY V6 DOES THE EXHAUST SYSTEM HAVE TO BE STAINLESS? OR CAN I USE REGLER EXHAUST PIPE TO MAKE MY DUALS OUT OF. I LIVE IN CA.

You can use regular pipes like alot of systems use but the stainless is usually more expensive yet lasts longer and wont rust out.

You can do whatever you like, but the only exhaust "kits" I've seen for the Mustang are stainless.

Getting a kit will make it easier to install as all the parts are correctly bent to fit your model.

The whole system is clamped together, not welded, so you could use non-stainless and stainless pieces in the same system... but whywould you?

jba makes kits that arent stainless steal but they will rust...waste of money

I have the Ford Racing Exhaust made by Borla and I love it. There is a sound clip of it in the exhaust sticky. Basically, my advice would be to listen to all of the exhausts in the sticky and find the one that has the tone that appeals to your hearing. It is all a matter of personal preference of sound...best of luck!
