Default New rear axle questions

Can the GT 8.8 rear axle simply be installed in the 4.0l v6? I'm looking to get something like this:
http://www.newtakeoff.com/index.asp?...mp;ProdID=8176

Are any modifications needed? I know there are many fans of the truetrac on the boards, but this is pretty simple, and all in one package. Thanks

yes it should just bolt right in as stated above not a big difference to change but u will notice a big change in handling and acceleration if u decide to put gears in it like 4.10
