I just recently cleaned my k&n drop in filter. When i was putting it back in i noticed that there is only about a 3 inch hole in the side of the air box for air inlet. I was thinking about hacking the bottom of the box off to allow the best air flow possible out of the stock system. a redneck cold air intake ifyou will. Does anyone have any input onthis? Will that mess anything up...?

I've heard of people drilling holes in the plastic for more air to go in.
