4.0L Supercharged Update!
The Silver Bullet is once again running the streets!
Lidio put a used Explorer motor back into my 2006 Mustang, until they can rebuild my old motor for the ultimate 4.0L V6. The car was retuned and not even spun past 5500rpm. We were really careful to protect this motor until the new one is finished. The car still made 345rwhp and 327rwtq. This may not sound conservative, but at 5500rpm it makes 13psi instead of 14psi at 6000rpm and 3 degrees of timing were removed from the previous tune. The car only has 9 degrees advance, instead of 12 degrees.
The car is pretty peppy to drive, and should do nicely until the other motor is complete. You can check out my data on www.AlternativeAuto.com , from the previous tune. They did a great job, and look forward to the forged motor later this year.
Good Luck!
P.S. - If you missed what happened to the motor, see my previous post yesterday explaining the Vortech failure.

RE: 4.0L Supercharged Update!
Glad your back in business. But have a couple of questions.
1) Aren't the internals of the 4.0 already forged?
2) If you have the same problem with the supercharger then won't the engine blow anyway?
Sorry if the questions sound stupid but I'm not that familiar with engine work. So I'd like to know just for my own knowledge.
