Disconnect Battery after installing duals?
I believe I read on here that you are supposed to disconnect the battery after you install dual exhaust. What happens if you never do?
When I had my duals put on this past Tuesday, I told the guys in the shop to disconnect it for 5 minutes so it can reset. I don't think they did, because the time on the radio and the My Color was like the way I had it.

You don't really need too do that for an exhaust. The O2 sensors should reallynot be effected. The new exhaust is just allowing air to flow more freely out but the air/fuel conent in the cats stays the same. If you want, go ahead and take the negative ternminal off for a few min. and put it back on and drive 100 miles to reset everything. I doubt there will be any difference.
