I believe Boss244, the fastest N/A-bolt on 4.0 needed to change hisfuel filter, plugs, and switched to mobil 1 sythetics. After he changed those he picked up3 tenths. Maybe run fuel injector cleaner in thecar a week before u go too.The spinning off the linewill make u lose a couple to a few tenths too.Instead of flooring it off the line, rev the car up to 1.5-2k rpm and have ur foot on the brake. Then when it turns green. Let off the brake and floor it slower. So just bydoing thatand learning how to launch u should easily see15.7's or 15.8's. That should help a lot. Good Luck!

take your TCS off
Take some psi out of the rear tires and put some in the front.( i ran 29 in the back and 40 in the front)
turn off AC
Roll up windows
Get a good reaction time
dont floor it right away, get going then floor it

i ran a 15.399 with my car and it was pretty much stock, just Axle back and a tunless CAI. the next time i went i just got better with my reaction time and ran a 15.332. it takes time to get good at the track. the more you go the better you will get.

Elevation like u said could play a little role, but do what we said, and with a near perfect run, that's what ur best time will be w/that car. Good Luck!

Bracket racing is the only scenerio where reaction time is a factor. During regular street nights and test & tunes, the timer doesn't start until the car leaves the starting line. You can sit at the line for 10 seconds after the green lite, and it will not affect your car's ET.

To the OP, another consideration is that not all tracks are created equal. There are MANY factors which come into play. Just don't get discouraged - go again, and go often. Drag racing is exciting and frustrating at times, but most of all it's FUN.
