Don't get motive gears. They tend to Whine. And if your buddy runs 15.5 then if you can drive you can take him.

You need 3:73's and a tloc, stay away from 4:10's, I have them and they don't make me any quicker. My 60' times are the same as when I had 3:73's, and I went my best with the 3:73's. For a tuner get a sct2 with Alternative auto tunes, a C&L cai, PHP underdrive alt pulley, whatever brand of shorty headers you can afford (the mac's are hard to install), change your fuel filter, switch to full synthetic oil, and a higher flowing muffler, plus sticky rear tires. You don't need duals unless you are trying to run quicker than me. I have duals, long tubes, off road pipes, a prochamber, moroso spiral core mufflers, UD pulley, alum driveshaft, anti squat brackets, LCA's, UCA, rear girdle, adj pan hard bar, bmr rad support, light weight battery, Jba wires, bosch platinum 4 plugs, C&Lcai and anAlternativeAuto89 tune. FYI, on my car other tuners 93 tunes are slower than AA 89 tunes.

He runs a 15.5! Is he an auto? U should take him easy with just a tuner(custom B A M A, AA, or brenspeed tunes-must be 91-93 to beat him)and hi-flow muffler. If u want u could take out ur spare and jack to save some weight too. MaybeUDP too if u want. U should havehim easy though w/o UDP's if he's runnin that slow.

Probably then, the cai/custom tuned tuner, muffler, and udp then. That should do it.

Has anyone dyno'd duals? There's not a little gain with that farely big decrease in backpressure? That's a little weird if there isn't then. It may not be logical, but dyno's don't lie!
It is good to have some back pressure. That is why a small percent of people who get true duals on N/A cars will see a loss in torque. On a supercharged application, it is too much pressure to keep the single exhaust. I was even weary of changing to duals because I am not making that much power, but it did help for me.

Thanx for clarifying it. I gotcha now. Do u think I will see a loss of torque w/my set-up running the shorty headers and my mods? Thanx again!

I would hope not, but I am really not sure. Even if there is a loss, it is only like 2rwtq, so it is not something that you will notice. Personally I would not worry about it if I were you. I just didnt do it when I was N/A because I was saving for the S/C
