Default what can i expect from this exhuast set up

i dont know jack about exhaust but i've been trying to read up on it here..and see that majority of people who switch to duals use X or H pipes,as opposed to Y..and that on the V6's H pipes arent really usefull except for the sound they give which is deeper(please correct me if im wrong on any of this), i'll be ordering a GT rear bumber so i can have 2 cutouts then new exhaust. i'm thinking of going with JBA H pipe and midpipes from V6mustangstuff.com($349) and the ford racing borla axel back mufflers with it($329 each, ouch). I'm going after sound before performance(but ofcourse extra power wouldnt hurt), i'd like it to sound as mean as a V6 can, will this do what i'm looking for without sounding ricey or leading to a bunch of pullovers/tickets

well...i dont know but i just put a flowmaster at on mine, and its plenty loud with a decent sound. i have a 72 chevelle with a 350 and there is no comparison to a v8 to a v6 no matter what muffler you get. however, the stang does turn heads if i really get on her, if the car has the looks, it will sound better.. just my two cents

How about trying the Pypes Mid-Muffler system?

It sound pretty darn good on the outside. I've had it on a couple of weeks now and I get compliments and people turning their heads whenI get on it!

well the price on the borla mufflers from there was making me second guess the idea..but i found this on ebay and it appears to be the same mufflers..but 2 of them for barely more than the other site wants for just 1...

it says for a GT but i assume its just saying that because techincally V6's arent dual exhaust and that comes with 2,but will work if i turn mine into duals using one of the kits from v6 mustang right?

Not yet. I'm working on it.

I'd love to be one of the first to post sound clips. Lord knows I couldn't find any when I was looking - had to buy the system on pure faith.
