ok, I havean x pipe and tru dual magnaflows, cat back system, 4" exhaust tips. I love it! Yes, there is a drone! But, you can kind of control it. If you cruise at about 25-30 mph @ 1500-1800 rpm, giving it just a littlebit of steady gas, boy you can hear that sucker coming! But if you criuse without the foot steadily on the gas, it will be quite normal. Did that make sense? When you fullly excelerate (like pulling out on a busy highway and floor it), it does have a muscular sound, similiar to a upscaled GT. It will turn heads! But then again if you are doing 30mph in town, you can keep it quiet. It is ok when doing 80 on the freeway, not loud at all inside the car. I like it alot.

I don't have duals but I have been in a mustang with duals installed. Yeah there is drone but it doesn't / didn't bother me at all. We cruised with the windows down anyhow so if anything, the wind cutting through the window mutes it out. If you have a radio in the car, turn it up about 2-3 notches.

As for me in my car, I can hear my MRT Aeroturbine grumbling at cruise speeds too (not too loud). It's just one of those things that you appreciate, get annoyed at, or don't even notice at all.

I think magna's have some of the least amount of drone. They are the best for the money if you are looking for a budget exhaust job that will last.

okay i am now looking at the jba dual exhaust kit the one thats on v6mustangstuff.com for $629. i emailed this guy that lives around my area and he said that with the part and installation its going to run me like 900 bucks. do you guys think hes over charging me for install?
That does sound pricey to me, but usually to haveit installed willcost you between $80-200. You are talking $900 for parts and labor right?

that is pretty rediculous for instalation. hey bring your car to me I will do it for 300 bucks but really I dont think that they will drone to much but all aftermarket exhaust drone so. I was thinking about getting them myself but I want a more throaty sound.

I guess it depends on if you want a quite v6 mutang coming down the road or something a little meaner...... Magnaflows are going to have some drone because of the performance orientation.
