im thinking about gettin new gears but evrywhere i read everyone says if u get gears to get a t lok as well. but i think my car comes with t lok already. i read in the manual and it says that traction lok is available if equipped.. so its an option. i got the pony pckage premium with all the extras so im guessin i might have t lok...i have the TCS which as an option too. buti dont know where to look to find out if i have it.??? and if i do does that mean i dont need one or still should get a differnt one. or will the stock do.??? 2008 V6

I dont think v6's come with T-Lok. To find out if u have T-Lok have someone drive ur car while u look from behind, gun it and see if u have two burn outs or one... if its just one then u dont have T-lok

yeah im gona do that. but what about the TCS button. if that is on or off will that effect the tiress spinning. cause i think that neutralizes the spinning. i think

... TCS will prevent your wheels from spinning. That's what they're designed to do.

the only thing thats killing is why the hell does it say "traction lok if equipped". i just want to see in writing where it says if my car is equiped or not. but im gona have to do it the old fashion way and floor it.

cuz some cars are T-loked equipped... I think the GT's and the GT500's are optionally equipied with it. best thing to do is check that paper that was posted on ur car to see what ur car came with. It shows everything thats in ur car and how much its worth and all that stuff... if thats not good enuf then u can floor it ! lol

No they aren't equipped this way, check your manual or even the literature for these cars.

No current v6 comes out of the factory with a t-lok.

Unless you bought a Terlingua Mustang or a CS6 or cut a seperate deal with your dealer after the purchase of your stang to have it installed, if you bought it brand new it DOES NOT have a t-lok.
