today i went to my shop going to order 3.73's from Ford Racing and when i called to put them on order they told
me that they were discontinued so i went ahead and ordered them from Strange. they are really good too but i
just thought that this was weird cause they are still on the internet for sale

I bought and had FRPP 3.73 gears installed about a month ago.

i heard the same thing. v6mustangstuff.com has them for sale but since they are discontinued, not sure if they have any left in stock. motive gears will be my second option if there are no more FRPP 3.73's left for the 7.5".

whatever you do dont get motive the oem style gears that are basically direct replacement 3.73's they suck
a buddy of mine has a GT and yes GT's are on a little heavier load but he blew em out first shot out of the box
now he has the ford racing ones and loves them but since that is out of the question for us
i would recomend either Strange, or Richmond they are good

Richmond are good gears, strong and not likely to blow, but they will whine due to how they are cut.

In fact if someone has a set of Motives and would rather have Richmonds I would be willing to do a trade because my car is my daily commuting car as well.
