i will buy a 2008 v6 convertible and i will like to know your opinionabout the T5 trans.
i hear that the manual transmission on a GT is great but the one on the V6 is not that good
someone told me it s stiff and it shift like a truck and i should go with the automatic

also i can order sport buckets seat same as a GT are there really better than the stock seat in the V6

I have a manual and it shifts pretty good. When I took it in to the dealer to get it's first oil change, the porter said it shifted really nice.
As far as seats, what do you mean by "Sport Buckets?" Are you talking about leather seats? I got the Pony Package with an Interior Upgrade that included leather seats, but I must tell you thatin the V6 and GT, the seats aren't all leather....just the part you sit on is actual leather....the rest is vinyl.It's not the best quality, but it's better than cloth IMO.
If you want better seats, I would just get the stock cloth seats and switch them out with an aftermarket company who specializes in leather bucket seats.

Yes, you can order the same seats as the GT. If I recall, you want the Aberdeen seat option. The seats are structurally no different, it's only the seat covers that are different. I actually happen to like the V6 leather seat covers more, simpler pattern which to my eye, matches the iconic look of the car better. Not a big fan of the thin horizontal quilt pattern on the GT back rest panels, which is probably more reminiscent of the original 64-65 interiors. Check them out in person before you decide. Your personal taste may vary.
