My Ranger was an auto as well, my grandfather's was a manny. Most people dont realize that Rangers are a lot heavier than other midsize trucks. Someone correct me if im wrong but I think they may have the same chassis as the F-150. I know they are in the same weight class.

the auto is fun to drive anyway, I get used to a stick just like having an auto..don't even really think about the shifting. I still have another car with a manual transmission but I'm thinking it's a psychological thing, I don't really pull the car out very often so I must not really have a huge desire toward manual transmissions. Easy to drive though.
