can you all give me prices on how much it costed to installed and how much the parts were? I just want an estimate, i plan on having a frrp ford dealer do it because it'll keep my warranty from being voided which is good.

first of all, only the rear end warrenty will be voided, second of all, the dealer BY law cannont void a whole warrenty from something like that, third, dont let the idiot monkeys at a dealership set up a rear end

picked up my car from the gear shop and can finally check 3.73's/t-lok off of my mod hit list. [8D]............there is a definite difference on how fast it goes through the gears and i haven't even punched it yet! shop guy told me 300 miles of casual driving then i can start hotrodding it...haha. seemed like a pretty cool guy that REALLY knew his sh*t. i was finally able to experience the gear whine that so many have experienced but i must say that this whine was pretty mild and only obvious when i was on the freeway with no music and windows up. its supposed to fade away during break-in but even if its kinda there, i dont see it as an issue for as mild as it is. shop guy used ford oem gears and said that he highly recommends oem's over the frpp for newer street cars so thats good piece of mind i guess. anyways, after 300, i'll tell u all how it really feels!......ODD is already broke-in so i gotta play catch up.
