Default Axle shaft Problem need help

hey everyone,
well this is what is going on and it really sucks. I have been gone for about 15 month (deployment) but before i left i was cut off getting on to a road and glanshed off a curb very hard. it bent the rim so i replaced the stock rim. but during my deploymeny the wife told me it started to squek. So i started with the brakes come to find out the shim had shifted and cut into the rotor to i fix that had it cut and trimmed up put everything back together and it presisted. so i took it about and did the simply round test. took a flap peice of card board and put it behind the axle shaft after it is all apart and spun the axle shaft the shaft has a small out of round spot. so i know i need a new axle shaft but i need to find one and it the shaft 31 spline or 28 spline and where can i find one. i need just one not two. hope you guys and help thanks....

Default RE: Axle shaft Problem need help

V6 is 7.5 inchand is 28 splines. GT is 8.8 inch and is 31 splines. Go to fordpartsdiscounted.com. W/out abs is $200.-$230. With abs is $391.00. 8.8 is $215.00.Try also to Google "axle shafts",might be able to findsomeother placeswho sell axles. Good luck and glad you made it home OK.
