Not sure if this is true or not, but I've read before that throttle bodies don't really serve a purpose as far as adding HP. Thinking about it, it kinda makes sense since aside from adding "turbulance" to the air, you're still getting the same amount and volume of air into the engine.

You may be thinking of TB spacers. The new Zapbteck TB DOES flow a bit more air than the stocker.

Yeah you're right, I was thinking of the spacers....sorry everybody. But I may have to look into this brand.

I like the idea of the Zabteck because it's a remachined factory piece which means it will function properly unlike some of the aftermarket TB's. Also the change out to a larger low profile butterfly and the shaft and screws are all flush to decrease turbulance and increase flow also.

I like mine, it did just bolt on because it already has the eletronics on it. Super easy, but you will also see how much oil is being blown into your intake by the PCV valve n hose.....
