Default Fidanza Lightweight Alum Flywheel

Well, I just picked up my car from the shop. Had the new clutch & flywheel installed. It's too soon to press the car, so I babied it home. Still, the car seems lighter and more willing to rev. I haven't totaled all the parts & labor, but here's a list of parts:

- SPEC2 clutch
- Fidanza lightweight flywheel
- Slave cylinder
- Throw-out bearing

Oh, and for those who are interested, I just weighed the stock flywheel with a bathroom scale - it weighs 26.5 lbs. Before installing the new flywheel, I weighed it using the same scale - it weighed only 11 lbs. That shaved off 15.5 lbs. of rotational weight. Not too bad IMO. More scientific results will be obtained at the track once the clutch is broken in.

I paid $433 for the install, which did not include machining the old flywheel 'cuz I had a new one. I was quoted a lower price elsewhere, but the shop I used had done previous work for me (gears/t-lok install) and I was comfortable taking my car to them. So far, I am VERY pleased with the SPEC2. No chatter (knocking on wood as I type), and the feel is lighter. It does have a different engagement, but it's not bucking like some others have complained about. So far, so good!
