I'm just gonna have a dealership put on my duals so it doesn't void the warranty at all.

Just dont let anyone try and talk you into cramming a
GT grill into that V6 bumper.

Lets see, the GT thats built on the same S197 platform has factory duals with
one side being right next to the fuel line. And there is a cover and what not providing some protection from the heat and debris. So not getting duals because the fuel line is right there is a moot point.
Any other reasons besides not wanting to void the warranty and the heat issue? Have some FRPPs installed at the stealership for about $1300 and be done with all the worries.

I had my FRPP duals installed at the Stealership for $250.00. It took them 5 hours. But they initially quoted me for 2 hour install @ about 250.00......so I held them to it.

I handed them all the parts ($650.00 after shipping), and they went to work. (mechanic spent a SOLID HOUR making sure the the pipes lined up right)

Stealership didn't know I had a V-6.....they assumed it was a GT since I was dropping duals on it, hence......the low initial quote......

...my FRPP Duals and install by Ford cost me $900.00....
