Unhappy Need help with pipes for V6/4.0 F/I!

Hey Guys & Gals!
I need some output on the GT dual American thunder flowmaster exhaust.
If you kept up with my mod list that I've done, you'll know that I have the Gibson dual exhaust on my ride w/custom X pipe, OK!

I'm not to happy with the sound and performance of this item, so I was thinking about swapping out the Gibson for GT dual flowmaster's AT.

I had a single flowmaster AT on my ride and that was one bad a** sounding and performance muffler. So I'm thinking about going that way again with a GT dual setup. The guy that installed my s/c'er has a pair of FM/AT mufflers for sale, from a GT.

Any PRO/CONS on this item?????
I'm not so much looking for hp, But sound and back pressure.
With the GT dual FM/AT muffler setup, do you think I should do the Y,X or H pipe for my F/I setup?????
Thanks,
Denny

nice car bro, what is it about the exhaust you have that you don't like tonal quality, raspyness, drone might help us help you if you explain a little better
Me personnaly I can't stand flowmasters on anything other than oldschool muscle with no cats&longtube headers then they sound good but that is just me

I have Flowmaster 40's with shorty headers, I will try to get a vid up tommorrow if you want me to. They drone like a **** on the interstate but they sound really good on the lower end, now they can get a little ricey on top end but the bigger the tips you put on the mufflers and the headers helped that out tremedoiusly
