Default clutch noise/throwout bearing?????

I have a 2005 mustang gt I have never had any problems with it. It has about 47,000 miles and over the past week this noise has been getting louder when I engage the clutch, but it only does it when the car has been setting for about 3 or more hrs. it is really a high pitched noise....(i am a woman) and the only owner of the car. Some people I have talked to at work and some family members keep saying it must be a throwout bearing. Well I call auto part stores for price on this part and I have to buy it in a kit for $1000.00. Well I am not even sure that's the problem can anyone help me or maybe your clutch has done this and you know what it is or could be. I really need some Info soo badly. Thanks Guys
