What should be my next step????
 

Hi Guys,
I currently own 05 mustang gt. automatic,with jlt Cai,bassani offroad xpipes,flowmasters. What should be my next performance upgrade? ( looking at getting a whipple down the line.)Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Stall converters are great for automatics. ...or so I have read. (I have a manual, so I have no first hand knowledge on this one........)

Lightweight aluminum driveshaft, since you have an '05....and the D/S had issues in the early 05 models at speeds above 112 mph. Ford can tell you if your VIN number is effected by the '05 driveshaft pinions coming apart. This would be the first thing I would look into ....(especially since you are going F/I down the road)

-You have the JLT CAI, did it require custom tunes?....if not I would suggest a tuner and any 91 or 93 octane tunes from Bama.

-You have the 8.8 rear end already, but you might look into getting some 4.10 gears for it.

off topic a bit, since you were asking about PEERFORMANCE MODS, but a few suggestions on appearance ones for you.

+1 shorty antennae, if you don't have one already.
+1 tint. (a MUST have)....search Taco Bill MOLESKIN before you get tinted.

Already got custom tune sct-sf3,Have tint, antenna is going out completely i never use anything other than my Sirius radio.:) along with whipple will come cervini c-500 series body kit mods except hood and side exhaust (i want gts3 hood).i also have eibach pro kit sitting in my garage that needs to be on my car ..
