I have a 07 GT conv. and am wondering if the $600-$700.00 Ford Racing cold air kit is really worth the 20 H.P......Is it at the tires or crank??

if your not going to retune the car you can take the 0 off the end of that number for real world gains

For that much...NO.
That pretty much is just a high flow filter. you could get a whole Cold air intake and a tuner for that.

checkout BAMACHIPS.COM for 700 dollars you could get the C&L cold air intake with a tuner and 3 custom tunes..

I just installed one on my 4.0 and its amazing!!! heres the link to the post:

Check out VMP Tuning.

They have a combo kit for under $450...with GREAT results.

I personally run a Diablo with a Bama tune...but the VMP kits are a ton of bang for the buck.
