Yeah, I went the 8.8 route because of higher power levels, but would have stuck with the 7.5 otherwise.

I was able to find some aftermarket axles awhile back for 7.5's, too, but not many.
Swapping the whole rear end is not that hard, especially with 2 people.
I'm in Raleigh NC but I have like no money especially at this time of the year , I really dont want to spend more than $300ish to get this fixed if I have to .

DTS has axles for ~$110, you can throw a LSD and a set of gears in there rear if you wanted to while its getting done

if this is infact the problem which I'll find out tommorow after visiting the ford dealer . It'll probably be cheaper to have him pay for this + install than to spend $500 on the deductible. Thanks for that link buddy , this is probably want he'll buy . man I love this place.

Sounds like you have a good excuse for your brother to buy you a 8.8 like these guys are talking about. Its not Fords problem, but now if one of my borthers did it, I would have to pay for the replacement, cause I would have takin the money out on his head already

As I said I'm poor , and he doesnt have the kinda money but good news, Just got back from the dealer . Wheel bearing and Axle replaced , rotor resurfaced and cost me $0.00 all under warranty. Just gave them the ole "I dont know what happened" story and when they Carfaxed my car the accident report came back clean.

I was just wondering how much you might want for that?

Did you vote for Obama? Your Parents should be proud...no moral compass.
