What's the best cold air intake for a 08 Mustang V6?

vmptuning.com has had his cai/tuner package on sale recently for $449.00. This is the least expensive Mustang V6 cai/tuner package you can buy. You should also get some kind of performance muffler too(GT takeoff?). These 3 mods will really wake up your Mustang V6 and are well worth the money.

Cool, that is cheap. Will have to give it a look. That's not a bad price at all.
Thanks for the help.
This is a really helpful website with really good people who help and not flame by the way....
Oh by the way, for those who have a k&n intake, how does it sound on your mustang? Just curious..

I bought the C&L with tunes from Bama........it looks good under the hood (the band clamps match my car color too) I have had absolutely 0 problems with any of my tunes Doug sent me. Install was a breeze, and I'm happy with the performance.
It's a bit more expensive than other CAI systems......but it get two thumbs up from me!
You can hear this intake sucking air a little bit, but it's not very noticeable.

I just installed my JLT with an Xcal3 and a 91 Octane race tune from Bamachips. The JLT Requires a tune, unlike some other setups.
If you go with JLT or C&L you'll be just fine, they are the best IMO out there. JLT from experience, and C&L because Doug is a genius and he sells them, so they must be good.

Another one to consider is Tunable Inductions. I had this back when I was N/A and it worked great. Cheap too. It's right up there with C&L as far as power gains. If I were you, I'd patrol the forums for a cheap used intake and go with that. Nothing wrong with a quality hand-me-down if it saves you money.

Hey, I have been reading everyone's feedback on this issue. Thanks for everybody's support. I really like this website. It's nice to have lots of people that really know what they are doing....
Anyway, I checked out the vmptuning.com website and found that sale for the CAI / tuner and was wondering a couple things:
1. If I get this and tune before switching my gears configuration, is this going to effect my performance? Should I wait until after I get my gears switched? I ask because the website asks for all this info. and I'm just not sure what to do.
2. Also, for someone who new to this, can someone explain what all the 87,89, 91, etc. performance/mileage questions are about? what's the difference if you select 87 performance as to 87 gas mileage?
