Anyone know the Horsepower gain from this? http://www.bamachips.com/store/index...roducts_id=174

Also is that a good deal or are there better products/deals to get?

Justin at VMP makes excellent custom tunes as well. If you want a more economical package option he offers a CAI that reuses your stock intake tube to save money without sacrificing performance. $449 - check out the details here: VMP 05-08 Mustang V6 Custom SCT X-Cal2 or X3 Flasher and VMP Intake. Plus he is in FL north of Orlando which might be local for you.

If possible, you should get a local reputable and experienced tuner to do the tunes for you; they'll better fit your car's systems.
But most folks are using tunes from a few of the very good tune vendors on here, and they work just fine.

You don't need a shop to set your tune: simply plug in the SCT or Diablo tuner and follow a few simple instructions that the tuner can provide. Very easy and simple.
And to get to the most out of the CAI and exhaust, ** DO GET A TUNE *** . You'll notice a differnce right away!
(search on this site for other topics about custom tunes, too; there's plenty of them)

Yes, let your tank of lower octane gas run low, then go fill it up with 93 or whatever your tune is for. Make sure you do that before uploading the tune to your car. You don't want to run a 93 octane tune with 87 octane fuel in the tank!

You can install the CAI yourself. It's extremely easy, you only need basic tools.
