Default Stalling at WOH.

Over the past few days, I have been driving a lot of highway and doing misc. stuff around town with some buddies. If I am at a roll of say 10-20 MPH and I go to "punch" it and it bogs down then picks back up like it normally should. Is it my injectors or plugs possibly? I plan to change the plugs and wires this coming Sunday but just curious to see if its my injectors maybe.

Thanks.

Is it a GT?....I know for the GT's (I am sure this applies to the V6) the TSB for the fuel pump while on highway applies to your yr car....

if its bogging down and its an Auto, you may need a transmission flush and fill, i do everything to my car myself but take it to Ford only to get the tranny flushed. they have the equiptment

I guess I did leave that information out. It is an automatic and it only has 31,000 on it. I just bought it about a month ago for my birthday before my father passed (why I havent had time until now to get it taken care of).

And I will definately check the TCS idea. My '02 doesnt have traction control so I did not even think of that. Its nice having two Mustangs though. Loans are awesome though.. Not really.

Edit - V6.

When you say 'bogs', do you mean it actually runs a slower rpm, or just is a delay until it takes off? There is a difference.

Could also be some throttle lag, or the stock auto converter maybe.

Yeah, the RPM will actually drop to around a grand then shoot back up to around 4-5000.

Plugs and wires shouldn't be bad at 30K. Neither should the injectors for that matter but it still is a possiblity. Sounds more like bad gas &/or a clogged fuel filter. Which could also mean the fuel pump TSB is a likely possibility. Another thought is the TPS is acting up, which also has a TSB history. Change the fuel filter forst and run some Seafoam through it as well. 1 in the tank and one through a vacuum port to clean out the injectors and intake.

Sounds like the traction control system.
