Default Help With Clutch Pedal

Hello, i have a 2007 Mustang V6 and last night i noticed the clutch pedal was closer to the floor and had less travel than earlier in the day so i pulled it back towards me. Now the pedal is too high up and engages close to the top. This is not how it use to be before yesterday. I think it could possibly have something to do with having to drive through a street the day before this started that was sort of flooded. Any input on why the clutch pedal engages so far up now?
