When I swapped the OE muffler on the g/f's Pony with my GT takeoff, the counterweight made a convenient "handle" to help me when I tossed it into the dumpster. There isn't one on the GT muffler.

Default Ford said it was not there part...........

My dealer refused to admit that this was a part to a 2008 Mustang.

After showing them the print out of this page they started to turn around.

It took 5 people to find where the part went.

Then they wanted to wield it back on but could not because there was rubber very near to the place it fell of they could not.

they car is still under Warranty and ford is replacing the full exhaust Service manager said it would of cost 2 grand.

Yes I could of live without it but why with a car that's only got 28k miles and is still under Warranty have it replaced.

If it only lasted 28,000 miles before it failed it should cost them.

Thanks to all here and to the .LILE. for starting the thread
