steel/ kevlar clutch and brake hoses

steel/ kevlar clutch and brake hoses
i was chat chittin with a friend the other day and i explained how sometimes my clutch feels super responsive and other times super smooshy. and he said it's the rubber tubes expanding 'n such. could that be the problem? if so, what/ where can i get steel or kevlar tubes?
