Supercharger Handling question

Supercharger Handling question
So I'm getting ready to install a supercharger on my 2010 v6, but I'm wondering what to do with the handling and suspension. Since I'll be operating with much more power than stock, how will the brakes/overall handling suffer? There's already a decent amount of yaw even with trac. control on through the turns going at low speeds. What are the most important suspension upgrades to do and are break upgrades necessary? Keep in mind, money is a factor.

Check the 4.0 section. But I would personally upgrade the suspension as well as brakes. At least some hawk hps pads over stock pads. Maybe some new springs, shocks/struts can wait (they are much more expensive for some good ones). I don't know about the S197's but lower control arms or full length subframe connectors are great on our cars to improve traction and wheel hop. Just throwing some ideas out there.

The brakes will be OK, but the dinky stock brakes are light years behind a good set of 13" Cobra/Brembo/Bear brake kit.
Stock the suspension is fine, but a strut tower bar, and new lower control arms doesn't hurt either. Lower the car will also help a little if not already done.
A few other things you can do is sway bars, upper control arms, and subframe connectors.
On my 5.0 only thing I have is a strut tower bar (5.0s come stock with them, but mine is still an aftermarket brand to clear the S/C), lowered 1.5", and adjustable caster cambers. Car handles pretty decent, but I could use a good set of control arms, which I will get as soon as I have a little spare cash.

coilovers or bust....
with that being said, takeoff track pak mustang GT suspension items would be a great way to get good suspension performance at a decent price. Also the roush/steeda suspension bits arent terrible for the price. You're body style is fortunate enough to have a real macpherson strut compared to the '79-'04 modified macpherson, so even something as simple as replacing the factory struts with low end Koni units will help the handling. Other than that, it is literally all relative to how much you want to spend, and what you plan on doing with it. If you just want it to corner a little better, buy some drop springs from roush/steeda and throw a sway bar in the back. You want a lower car, buy some drop springs. If you want a suspension setup that is really going to perform on a road circuit or autocross event, it will be more involved.
And matt nailed it, as long as you dont abuse the power, the factory brakes and suspension are more than enough to handle and extra 30-50lbs. of supercharger(no idea how much it all actually weighs lol)

and they all say it will work, the CAI may not fit though, depends on the kit.

Keep in mind, the suspensions for the '05 and later are different from earlier years. But the same concepts apply of course.
For your '10, you'd really at a minimum want lower control arms (to prevent wheel hop when you take off). All other stuff depends on how you'll drive the car. A rear sway bar helps a lot, if you don't have one. Otherwise, the stock suspension is fine unless you want to lower it. FWIW, lowering it and different springs/struts/shocks will make a huge difference in handling; and as mentioned, the rear sway bar helps a lot, too.
But, the aftermarket suspension parts do result in a stiffer ride, and you feel more bumps and stuff. So there's a trade-off.

OP, here is a link to the Xcharger. They specify a few for the 2010.
