2lbs = no realistic difference. the price differences you find are based more on the vendor asking price and the "brand name" stamped on it. shaftmasters seem to be the best deal online. i almost pulled the trigger on a shaftmasters DS until i found one made by my local gear/drivetrain shop for about the same price. awesome "intermediate" mod no doubt!

there is ONE problem with an aluminum driveshaft... i tend to launch hard more often from traffic stops while forgetting to look out for the lawman

no loop here. also, never had my car on a dyno yet. just haven't had the urge to fork out $100 for a run. as soon as a dyno day pops up locally, i'll get some numbers.
