Default Any DIY's on how to change a drive belt?

Need to replace mine, but need information on it. IE: how to get it off, routing direction etc.....but cant find anything on it.

Its a 2005 v6, any help would be greatly appreciated

It's pretty easy. The spring loaded belt tensioner is on the left side of the engine as you're looking at it from the front. If you look close, you'll see a square hole on the tensioner arm. A socket wrench can be inserted into this hole and used to retract the arm enough to slip the belt off

Reinstalling is the same. Retract the tensioner and slip the belt on. There's a routing diagram on a sticker under the hood. Watch that the smooth back of the belt ends up on smooth pulleys and the grooved side of the belt touches grooved pulleys as a double check that you have it right.

I tried it with a sock wrench, but not enough leverage so I have to try the breaker bar. When I fit it in, do I push clockwise or counter to move the tensioner? I

So I am able to move the tensioner but it is still tight on removing the belt, is there something I am missing?
