Default Opinions on Flowmaster American Thunders

I'm thinking about getting the Flowmaster American Thunders (part number 817460, pictured below). I have duals with an H pipe.

Does anyone have these mufflers, and if so how do you like them?

Well, i found a shop nearby that has these so I'm PROBABLY going to get them today. From what I understand these are the only stainless steel mufflers that Flowmaster has, and they're supposed to sound awesome. Very aggressive with little drone. We shall see. I'll let you know what I think of them. I may have some boom tubes for sale

Well..... Since there have been lots of views and no reponses I'm guessing nobody has heard these or has these..... Well, I got them installed yesterday and they are awesome. VERY deep rumble, throttle response is improved, and they're stainless so won't rust. Some will say "Flomasters aren't stainless, just the tips are". Well, these are 100 percent stainless steel. I'll try to get a few sound clips together.

That picture is of the new model - I haven't heard them yet on anyone's car but when I had the original AT on mine it had a great sound outside.

Inside, with the 3.73's, it was too much on the highway - drone and couldn't hear the radio or the person in the passenger seat talking. I understand that this edition though has some improvements, in addition to the material upgrade.

The only time I get a drone is around 1900 rpms..... I've got 4.10s so at cruising highway speeds i'm usually at around 2400 rpms so the drone is very minimal then. They do sound good. It's a very "clean" sound.

I am going to be getting some Mac FLowpath mufflers and then have a shop make an axle back system for me.
it ends up being MUCH cheaper than the 400+ dollars you pay for the Mac Axle back on AM or SM

I have the older (round) ones installed and think they're great. Here's interior/exterior videos I made:
