Default Single vs dual exhaust on 2010 v6

So I've ready some conflicting reports on here. Some say that the single exhuast is best for NA V6 engines performance wise. Others say switching to duals is better performance wise.

I know that duals look better and sound better, but does the single pipe actually give better performance over the duals?

Duals probably aren't going to give you real noticeable gains, but they won't suck power out of your engine either. A lot of people think they drop your low-end torque and this technically may be true, but if it is those gotta be small numbers and definitely not something you'lll notice on the in-the-seat. Speaking first-hand btw

I think the positives (look, sound, better performance) far outweigh the negatives (very minimal low end torque loss which isn't even really noticeable). At least from what I've experienced. I love my duals and would never go back

I agree with the other posters here, the pros outweigh the cons..if there are any cons. I didnt notice a difference in power, definitely didn't feel any losses. If there is a performance change its pretty minor I guess only a dyno will tell.

Hmmm....what is that 19 or 20" rims you have there?
The exhaust set up doesn't weigh nearly as much as your rims.....so who paid for more....I'm thinking you did!

And costs more than what? Doing nothing? Well, yeah...

I converted from a single flowmaster american thunder exhaust to the FRPP true dual exhaust kit. When I converted, I had the FRPP cold air intake and Procal tune already in place.

I noticed a big increase in that "seat of your pants" feel. More torque, better sound. I highly recommend going dual.
