Best plugs are the OEM autolites (5143 as I recall) - cheap and work fine. Don't get the expensive Bosch - with the waste spark system the 4.0 uses no one seems to run well with those and the shop told me everyone brings those back with complaints.

Relatively easy to do for both the plugs and the fuel filter. Check out the write ups. The spark plugs make sure you start them by hand and don't try to start them with a wrench. If they are off a little bit you will wreck the threads if you use a wrench but with your hand you will feel the resistance and be able to back off and restart the process.

Can you feel the difference? I heard it has better throttle response. I have 39k miles should I change mine? Alot of people tell me no.
