Well I guess I should have just bought a v8 =/ but it was all i could afford at the time. Actually new to cars I just left my chevy silverado cuz the payments were alooooot so now i have a v6 mustang that sounds like crap but oh well saving some money now and seeing some different things i could do with this car.
really, it would be better to just save up all the money it WOULD cost to go a swap.... and then use that money as a down payment on something with a V8 already in it.
Only trouble a Mustang is Cool and the oldtruck is just that a Truck.
+1, but it's not a v8, will this debate ever end? Yes, unfortunately in the not to distant future v8's will become a thing of the past. That will be a sad day for us all.

i dont think they would become a thing of the past. trucks are getting larger and getting V10's and a matter of time before they have V12's. as for most other cars, ya maybe they will perfect better V6 motors and use them more like the new 2011 V6. but they will still and always offer High performing V8's. they could take away the 4.6/5.0 in the future and offer decent powerful V6's, but there will always be somebody willing to pay for the 5.4 V8's. The moment we lose V8's is the day muscle cars die.
............ if you get the 5.4, make sure its a lincoln 99-04, those are the only DOHC's, f150's and expeditions have 5.4's but they are SOHC's. the DOHC had much more potential in the engine.
