+1, my car vibrates and rattles on the interior from all over because I've taken off pretty much every panel for one reason for another and the Two 10's don't help much. Its something I've learned to live with and it doesn't bother me one bit, its a Mustang not a BMW.

Has the vibration always been there? If not, I'd say it's a tire. If it has always been there since new, then BULL****!!! It's a defect in the driveshaft. Mine had a vibe right at 68, and Ford fixed it under warranty with a new driveshaft. It did it from day-one.

Just because another one did it does not mean it's "normal"; sounds like a batch of bad ones.

stock wheels - sancho805 the exhaust could be it, I noticed that ford welded some sort of big ear on the side of the muffler - maybe trying to fix there problem ? I noticed you have a aluminum d/s I did some research the stock 2 piece is 42 lbs the al-d/s is 17 could that make a difference too.

The Aluminum drive shaft will def. get rid of the clunkiness of the stock one.

Bug the dealer. It's a defect. Should be no vibration at all.

Sounds like the engine rpm is too low for the gear the trans is in.
When you turn the OD switch off the trans doesn't shift to 5th. If it doesn't do it with he OD switch off you can be pretty that's the problem.
Try disconnecting the battery to reset the adaptive learning or purchase a tuner/tune to get rid of the throttle lag and change the shift points.

Its always felt like its in to high of a gear for the speed I'm going - the extra tork needed to push the car at lower speed probably would bring out any imperfection in the drive shaft and exhaust system " fords harmonic Vibration"

Turn the overdrive off and see if that makes a difference then.
