CompCams says there is no way to fit those in a stock OHV 4.0L. The Mustang owner says its the Mustangs 4.0L not a ranger/explorer swap. I wish I could confirm this. Sorry for the suspense.

Dang that sucks. You should tell them to make us a cam. Im sure there would be alot of people that would buy them. I also heard we can stroke our motors becasue it has the two piece oil pan but if you swap to a ranger/explorer motor you can. sounds like that might be the way to go boys lol. I asked my tuner about supersixmotorsport's cams and he said he wouldnt recommend them because they are reground and they ave to use spacers or something and over time the spacers get thinner and **** can go bad. Im not sure how true that is but this guy knows his s***.

I kept talking to the guy and he checked with the mechanic that did it. Found out they were a set of regrinds that had similar specs to the 270HR. $300 and a swap for the core. I'll post the info of where if he finds it.

if you have to bore out your engine block for this then scrap that idea, cause our 4.0 blocks have to thin of walls, its dangerous for us to bore out the block. if no boring is required i would say its worth looking into. but again, a warning, 4.0 blocks are thin and can weaken the structural integraty of the motor.

as for the price, i would say its overpriced. im only paying $1,997 for my mopar challenger stroker kit to make my 440 into a 543CID. seeing as this is your only option there is no competition therefore they can charge what they want, but personally, i think its up there in the price range.
