Default 2009 and 2010 4.0 V6

Is there a difference between the 2010 v6 motor and the 2009 v6? I want to turbo my car, but the only ones i can find are for 2009's. If there is a difference has anybody heard any news on turbos coming out for the v6? Thanks for any information!

I am pretty sure with the 2010's they still utilized the 2v 4.0l, obviously with the 2010's the change was the appearance of the car and the 2011 is the introduction of the 3.7l motor.

If you know a service tech or mechanic at your Ford dealer that you trust to know what he's talking about I'd ask one of them.

The motors are the same, I'm not sure how the 2010 engine bays are designed compared to the 2005-2009 for fitment purposes. Check out www.powerhouse411.com and give them a call and ask them if their kit will fit a 2010.

motors are identical, along with most of the wiring. The only issue I've noticed so far is just the clearance on some items. I know the hood has a more contoured design, but the fenders flare more in it looks like. I will ahve to get my buddy's 08 here and take measurements to find out for sure.

Engine is identical, body is 100% different as far as the turbo is concerned it will fit as well as a supercharger if that is your goal! The powerdome hood helps things out!
