Default 2.25" to 2.5" exhaust Questions

Our stock cat pipes are 2.25" and then after the Y it's 2.5"

If I get a 2.5" ProChamber I am going to need to enlarge the cat pipe by a .25" correct?

Likewise, I am about to pick up take off GT piping. If I get the 2.25" ProChamber, I will need to enlarge my piping out of the Prochamber by 2.25" correct?

What are the names of those couplers? Does anyone see any problem with ding this?

I found a guy selling the midpipes (pipes from after the X or H back to the mufflers) for $60. Seems like a good deal to me. What do you think? Thanks!

I am wondering the same thing. I have the frpp kit with the gt takeoff over-axle pipes. Im replacing the x pipe from that kit with the prochamber. I emailed MAC a while back and they said since my car was an 05 but built in 04, I need to get the pc2105; which is the 2.5" pipe. The other option is the pc2250 which is the 2.25" which is for the late 05s-09. When was your car made? I know the couplers you speak of but depending on when your car was manufactured you should be fine with either of the above options.

I believe mine was mid year but can't remember. I think for now, to save money, I am going to go with an X pipe then do the ProChamber later.
