Default Gt front bumper on v6

I have a pretty beat up front bumper on my v6 and was looking into putting a take of gt bumper on because I like the look of them better. My car already has gt fog lights and i know the grill will be different but I am unsure if the gt bumper will bolt up to the v6 body.

Thanks

The gt bumpers are direct bolt-on, and if you have the fog lights for the gt bumper than you are all set.

well...almost

you will still need the fender liners on each side if you want to do it right...

the styrofoam pieces that go under the gt bumper are optional as is the radiator stone deflector.

now the wiring to the fogs is something else...unless you have the pony package, then its simple...

Yea, are we leaving some of the minor details out here?
Its a task that can be done relativly easy if you have the knowledge...

I would recommend the styrofoam mainly because I took mine off for a whole 3 days until the corners of the crush bar started making indentions in my bumper.

Not to mention the SAFETY aspect of the styrofoam
as well as the asthetics of it...
My foam saved me from a lot of unneeded damage.
The damage would have been frame and body instead
of just the bumper cover/styrofoam getting damaged...

well the v6 styrofoam is actually bigger than the gt styrofoam, thats the reason folks consider it optional... because you can actually sand down the v6 styrofoam a bit and it works fine for the gt bumper.

i wouldnt know, because i spent the 5-10 bucks to install the gt styrofoam and case closed...

Yea, there are forum posts showing you how to
'TRIM' the V6 foam for the GT bumper... :P
Highly detailed pics as well...
The forum also has a fine Search Feature thats
just begging to be used, as its mighty lonely...

One other thing: the stock grill on a v6 is different than the GT.
