Although the ram air hood looks good, it (with a tune) provides no more gain that a typical CAI & tune. The engine can only ingest so much air and the weak link is NOT the intake or TB. Which leads me into my next comment; forget the aftermarket TB.

That was just speaking for speed. I plan on sprinkling a nice even mix of handling mods in there along with some exterior mods like GTCS front/rear bumpers, rear and 1/4 window louvers, and perhaps some stripes.

Now, those mods are all definates. I may add some other items onto that list as they pop up, because I would like my car to run under 13 in the 1/4, but none of those mods will be taken off.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're not going to get into the 13's, let alone run under 13's, without a supercharger or turbo and/or internal work

I know. I said "may" because I "want". I meant it probably won't happen, but if I get the money together, I will add to the list and try to run in the 12s. I was thinking a turbo, but I am in no rush because if I ever do get the money together, it will be in several years.

I don't know about him but I wouldn't waste my time with the mod based on the fact that a lot of guys have and the feedback has by and large been negative. Stock heads are only going to flow so much air no matter what kind of TB you put at the head of the intake unless you switch to forced induction. The throttle body on a stock engine with stock heads is not going to be a noticeable improvement and the easiest way to figure that out is that BBK sells it as a "no tune required" item. If you don't have to change the tune, you haven't added any performance.
