V6 dual exhaust.

V6 dual exhaust.
I would like to dual the exhaust on my 2007 4.0 V6. I want something deep and aggressive. Looking into some shorty bolt on headers, stock cats, X pipe, (true duals) but im not sure what mufflers will give me a good deep sound. I have heard some Borla exhaust that sound pretty good. Any opinions?

I've had both a single Flowmaster AT and Borla Stingers when I went duals.
Flowmaster - great sound but will rust away to nothing in a matter of a couple of years. I had mine on for about 1-1.5 years and it was pretty darn rusty to the point it was time for me to replace it IMO.
Stingers - with the duals I couldn't be happier. I love the sound but it's truely a personal taste issue when it comes to sound. Stingers won't rust either.
Have you checked out the exhaust clips thread on here? Done any youtube searching? I spent hours doing this and drove the wife crazy with exhuast vids. But you have to do your research so you know what is right for you.
Good luck and welcome aboard. Being new you realize you have to post up pics of your stang right?

I spent a long time last night listening to sound clips, I like the Borla sound best, the Magnaflows second, The flowmasters third, but I have heard from guys around here that they will rust bad. Will shorty headers change the sound any?
I like em' loud. I have a 1994 F-150 that can be heard a mile away, she has Full length headers, 2.5in true duals, no cats, 18in glasspacks, and 5in echo tips. run straight out the back, I have 2 10in subs with an 800 watt amp and it overpowers them. Now it is too loud. I cant even HEAR my car.

here's a exhaust clip of mine, i'm not sure if you would want to go this direction or not. but you said you like it loud, so here it is. the car was still cold, that's why it crackles so much.
