Default painting my car, maybe

So basically I have a performance white 2010 mustang v6, which is alright. But what would really make me happy is a black one
The question I have is: If I got a good dea;, how much would it cost to paint?

BAD IDEA, white to black is going to cause all kinds of problems, the car would essentially have to come apart to paint it properly and even then you're going to have a white engine bay etc. as far as cost goes, anywhere from 1500 for a total s%$t job to around 6000 for something you wouldn't mind looking at. If you really want black, sell your car and buy a black one, my GT is white, and I wouldn't trade it for two black ones, but I don't like black cars.

You can go to Maaco and get a paint job for $500 lol, your tires, wheels, and glass will have overspray all over them and it will start to bubble and flake. Trade in your car, its not worth it.

The best paint job your car will ever have is from the factory unless you're willing to spend a lot of money. To me, it'd be crazy to paint a 1 year old car just because you didn't like the color. If you have more money than you know what to do with then go for it, but for a factory quality job you're looking at 3 to 5k.

I agree with what the other's are saying here. I love black cars but they are a pain to keep clean and hot to touch in the summer time.
Keep your car white and get some stripes painted on or you could get the vinyl kind to break up the white some.
If you are dead set on a totally different color, your best bet would be to trade it in on a color you want. A professional body shop won't be cheap if you want a factory-like job done.
