Suspension Kits... worth it?
#2
New take off is just parts that were removed from stock mustangs, these parts have seen no miles or a very few in like 5 miles or so. It would be an upgrade to your suspension you have if its stock. It could be a good option if you don't have any plans of upgrading it in the future if you do then go with something else.

Go on the S197 Handling forum and check there. It all depends on what your intention is; improve overall ride quality? improve cornering? lowering? moto-X? track?

Suspension kits designed for real improvements are. Depends what your goals are and what you are trying to improve. Decide what you like/don't like about the vehicle and then research the parts that will make your vehicle into what you want it to be.

Your best bet would be to go to S197forum.com and ask them about it in the Corner Carving Section.
Let them know what you plan on doing to it, etc etc.....if you don't they will jump right into getting you setup for road racing....which isn't what you want is it?
They are the most knowledgeable on suspension of any forum for mustangs I know of.
Suspension is always worth it, but there are so MANY different types to go with unless you have a basic understanding for what they will do and how they will affect your vehicle then there is no way for one to piece together a kit on his or her own, respectively.
If you want an off the shelf ready to go kit.....check out these sites.
Maximummotorsports.com
Stranoparts.com
or if you're a hardcore, deep wallet kinda guy...
Griggsracing.com
Agent47racing.com
The setup I have or will have completely soonish...is as follows:
Eibach Pro-kit
Tockico D-specs OR Koni adjustables
J&M CC plates
MM Endlinks
MM adj. panhard bar
MM adj Lower control arms
BMR adj Upper Control arm
That's for a street driven track/ish car...it'll see about 6-10 days per year of road courses and will do fine for me in HPDE 1
We will see what happens if I go further IE: NASA, or SCCA Solo. That will be after I finish med school though lol
