Those transmissions are pretty durable, at least that is what my cousin the transmission mechanic says. I've tuned my shift pressures from stock to 25% firmer and it has not affected the way the car drives. I do love the firm shifts though and sometimes I think I almost hear it chirp 2nd.

I still have problems with the transmission close to a $1200 the genius from the dealer have not solved my problem, I wonder if my issue could be a solenoid pack problem? I have seen several youtube videos about the transmission Ford put on the mustang, and it suffers from 3 known issues, servo damage, harsh and hesitation on reverse (there are kits to solve this problem) and solenoid problems. Has anyone here experienced the same issue and managed to solve it?

My 06 has the harsh and hesitation on reverse. I hope it lasts me.
