Default 2007 V6 Dim Instrument Cluster

I have a 2007 V6 Vert. During the day the speedometer and tachometer gauges are too dim to readily see. Is there a way to make them brighter or are white face gauges the only answer? If white face gauges are the answer, any recommendations are appreciated. I did a search but didn't find this issue addressed. Thanks for any suggestions. Regards, Ray

Drive with the clearance lights on thus illuminating the cluster....

157db, thanks for the response. However, on a bright day it is still too dim for easy viewing. I don't like to take my eyes off the road long enough to focus hard on the speed. Regards, Ray

Bitter, yes, I'm wondering if that is the way I need to go. That white gauge seems like it would be very visible. Any idea where the best deal is for a four gauge display? Another alternative to spending that much would be to spend a little more and switch to a Mycolor display. Is that display brighter than the stock display? Thanks for the response. Regards, Ray

Ray, I have the MyColor option and have no problems reading my gauges. Of course they are even more visible when I turn on my lights and/or put on my driving glasses.

We could tap into the OBDII port and
have a device announce the current
speed with a nice cute Suri voice at
desired programmable intervals.
.
Or just announce the speed when it
changes by a MPH or two...

I bet there is even an APP for that..
